GM Issues Service Update For Escalade IQ, Silverado/Sierra EV for improperly torqued control arm bolts

Service Update N252507500

GM has identified an issue with certain 2025 model year Escalade IQ, Silverado EV, and Sierra EV vehicles in which the rear lower control arm bolts were not fully torqued.  If you own one of these vehicles, you should contact your dealer to verify if your vehicle is affected.

If your vehicle is part of this update, the dealer will perform a rear wheel alignment and properly torque all four rear LCA bolts to proper spec.   The total number of vehicles affected is unknown and only your local dealer or GM can verify if your vehicle is involved.

The repairs outlined in this bulletin must only be completed at an authorized
EV dealer and repairs must be performed by a technician who has successfully completed the
applicable technical training required to perform this repair.
