GM Overcharged some 2026 Chevy Silverado EV owners for CARB Certification

Customer Satisfaction Program N252521400

GM has mistakenly charged some customers for CARB emissions certification when they purchased their 2026 model year Silverado EV.

If you purchased a 2026 Silverado EV and you were charged for California Air Resources Board (CARB) emissions certification, and you believe you shouldn't have been, you should contact GM or your local dealer where you purchased to see if your vehicle is involved.  GM may also send you a letter to notify you if your vehicle is involved.

If you were mistakenly charged, dealers will provide you with a reimbursement check in the amount of $500.00.
