About EV Outdoors

EV Outdoors was founded by Ken, an electric vehicle owner, enthusiast, and independent EV analyst with more than a decade of firsthand experience driving and evaluating electric vehicles.

Our reporting combines direct ownership experience, hands-on vehicle evaluations, technical research, and original analysis. Coverage includes electric pickups and SUVs, emerging automotive technologies, battery performance, charging infrastructure, software, vehicle economics, and EV market developments.

Real world testing is central to our work. From towing a large travel trailer thousands of miles with an electric pickup to examining charging performance and long term vehicle ownership costs, EV Outdoors focuses on questions that matter to actual buyers and owners.

Our approach is straightforward: assess the strengths and limitations of electric vehicles objectively, explain the technology clearly, and let the available evidence guide our conclusions.
